Great Little Cooker
Works well as a pressure cooker and and regular cooking pot. It warms evenly and the finish is so smooth food actually sticks less in this one than my non-stick pots.

Loud whistle
I give this 3 stars for the loud whistle. I like the prestige brand of cookers I have owned a different one in the past. I like this one because its wide and cooks nice and evenly. It's kept well with frequent use - I have had it for 8 months. I use it 3-4 times a week.
However the whistle is loud it causes my 3 year old to cry so I have to use when he's sleeping or not home. It's also loud on my ears too and just plain annoying.

I had a real problem when the first cooker that I ordered arrived withthe pressure weight broken. I cannot praise Amazon.com for the speed in which they sent a replacement. If only all service was like this. I am now using the cooker & am delighted with it. The reason I have only given it four stars is that there is no trivet, I am using one from another cooker. It is obviously made for the Indian market so the brief instructions are for cooking rice. Nevertheless, after years of using pressure cookers I am well able to adapt. This might be more difficult for a novice user. I live in Spain & there are no outlets here for ordering spare parts if necessary but I am sure Amazon.com will help me if need be.
