outstanding frother
I'm truly amazed at the effectiveness of this device. Frothed milk with a meringue-like consistency provides a perfect topping for any coffee beverage. Additionally, frothed cold milk mixed with chocolate powder produces an eminently satisfying milkshake.

perfect for making hot chocolate!
I bought this frothing pitcher as a way to make hot chocolate. After reading all the reviews of steamers and the difficulty of getting good results, as well as the apparant exploding danger reported with some of them, I saw this stovetop frother and decided to try it out. It turned out to be a perfect fit. Exactly what I wanted: a way to heat milk without it burning. Turns out the frothing mechanism also blends melted chocolate shavings perfectly. And, the end product is very pretty, too. Great buy!

I had an electric one and you cannot compare this to that...it doesnt make that much foam and it disappears fast...

Best of three juicers I tried
I have tried the Jack LaLanne Power juicer, the Breville JE900 (previous model) and this model. By far this one is the best one! First of all, the Jack LaLanne Power juicer had less power than the Breville series, and also the metal mesh screen had bigger holes. So a lot of the times, the juice produced wasn't really smooth. Because it was white it stained easily if you make a lot of carrot juice. Also, cleanup was more work because you have to unscrew the juicing blade every time for a cleanup.

Now onto the Breville series. Quick and easy cleanup, fine mesh screen so the juice is much more smoother, and more power! What makes the JE95XL better than the JE900 is mainly the two speed control. With the JE900, it was so powerful and fast all the time that when I juiced soft fruits like grapes and strawberries, the fruit wouldn't be juiced all the way. Wonderful tool, minus the hyperbole
OK I got this juicer just as soon as it came out. I read all the reviews of all the juicers I could find, and it was clear that Breville was the best way to go. And the raves were all about the previous model which had less power and only one speed. I love the juicer but I guess I was expecting a divine product by the review I read. I'll just say it is good quality without drooling all over about it...

I had the Breville JE95XL juicer for a few months and was quite pleased with it. When my daughter visited from college she loved it and so, it went back to school with her.

After a couple of weeks, she called to say that the unit simply stopped working. (Recently she visited again and brought the unit to me.)

Omega--the Last Word
My odyssey to find the best travel juicer continues. As other reviews of mine have stated, I've been juicing three decades, with an Acme and a Champion, both of about 20 years' service, being my main juicers.

However, I do travel several states once or twice per month. I tend to visit hospitals in small areas, certainly nowhere near juice bars. I always miss my juice when gone. I decided last year to start taking my juicing on the road. Believe me, you don't want to haul an Acme or Champion! When I was in my twenties, it's hard to believe I actually strapped that Champion on the back of my bicycle and went touring with it! Well, I'm middle aged now and wiser.

I started out with the L'Equip Mini. Didn't work for me, parts fiddly though performance was good. Great First Juicer
I did SO much research on the Internet before finding that there are 2 small juicers available, and that both get good reviews. One is this one and the other is the L'equip mini. This model is newer so it didn't have as many reviews, so I couldn't decide. I called up one of the Internet sites and asked which they suggested. They said that Omega has a great reputation and stands by their products better than the other company. If you read the reviews of the L'equip 221 you'll see that that company is horrible if you have a problem with your juicer.

Healthy habits
I was hesitant about how much juice would be extracted because of the size. Very compact. Perfect for apartment living and small kitchens. I am presently surprised! It is easy to operate and makes alot of juice. The clean up and maintenance is easy. Definitely recommend this product!!!

Great but...PINK!
The fan is great. I use it in the car with my friends. One friend is always really hot and I don't want to open the window because I'll be cold so I got it for her. They like it too!

Only one problem. It's PINK! Image shows fan BLACK! and the description does not detest that. In fact the description doesn't mention the color at all, so you have to go with the picture. I didn't even know there were other colors for options.

So down two stars. One for not having it in the description. And two for the misleading picture.

I Like It
I've only used this for a few hours but so far I love it. It kicks out a good breeze. It is light weight and perfect for travel. I train and never know if the room is hot or cold. With the USB port, I can plug into my computer; don't have to worry about finding an electrical plug. It does come with electrical plug so it can be used with electricity. If this turns out to be a dud, I'll post it.

Hope it lasts, but this seems like a great product. Surprisingly powerful and not too loud. Great for travel for those of us that need a fan away from home. The USB feature is handy as well.

Love It!
I have to say, I *love* my E8! I tried one at a store and, after a lot of research, settled on Jura Capresso because of the cleaning cycle feature (most others you have to remove the "brew group" once a week or so and manually clean it - I was *so* not going to do that!). I settled on the E8 versus other JC's because of the price and the features... the higher-end models' extra features (none of which directly affect the quality of a single cup) were worth the additional cost, especially since I live alone.

I've no complaint about the temperature of the coffee, as long as I pre-heat my cup. A little hot water out of the spiget does the trick. I use a decent coffee bean from a local store and have excellent results. I did have to play around with the grind settings, but I expected that.

The frother (I don't have the fancy add-on) does a better-than-decent job of frothing/foaming milk; however, it's not as good as a coffee-house machine wielded by a pro, with...

I love Miss Anna
OK, this thing ain't cheap. I mean, how can you ever justify spending $1000 on a coffee maker?? I named mine Miss AnniBirthenTine. She was so expensive, that she was my 'Anni'versary, 'Birth'day, and Val'enTine's day gift all rolled into one item! That being said, I admit I have a bit of an unhealthy relationship with my coffee maker. I love her. Fine. I said it.

One thing I have noticed is that Miss Anna is smarter than I am. She tells me when to clean her, fill her with water, etc. And, I love that. She's clean and polite - never demanding. Here and there she does some things I am not sure of, but nothing has been serious. For instance, I also experienced what the reviewer who gave one star said - intermittent coffee - part way through she would just turn off. I did not call customer service, but instead did some troubleshooting on my own. I came to the conclusion that the beans I bought were a bit oily (which is warned against in all the manuals and videos)...
coffee convenience
I bought this machine about two years ago. At the time I thought it was pricey, but decided that in the long run, it would pay off. It has.

PROS:
CONVENIENCE. There is nothing like coming down in the morning, pressing a button, and having a good coffee, which is freshly ground for you while you wait. The separate boilers allows you to immediately switch from foaming milk to producing espresso.
EASE. My partner and parents (who wouldn't touch my Gaggia classic because it was too complicated) all use this machine without hesitation.
DURABILITY. After two years, our well-used machine (2-3000 cups) has not needed a repair.
VERSATILITY. The coffee bypass is extremely convenient, given that my partner and I frequently prefer different roasts - it is very simple for one of us to grind our own and use the bypass to produce our preferred cup.

Great for individual servings
Took awhile to convince my husband this was a good thing. Now he's totally sold and our poor little "regular" coffee maker is feeling neglected. Whatever Keurig you choose, be sure to get the My K-Cup so you can use any type of coffee you wish. This is the thing that sold us on the unit. The K-cups are fairly expensive themselves, but the fact that I can still buy my own gourmet, locally roasted coffee and grind perfectly to use in my Keurig has me tickled pink.

We purchased one which came with an assortment of 60 K-cups as well as the My K-cup unit. Really enjoying trying the different flavors that came with the unit. When using the My K-cup, it took a few tries to get the right grind, but once you find that with your grinder, you're all set. Keurig Burnt Coffee taste? Simple answer.
I just got this machine & my Coffee tasted burnt. My water temp was at the higest setting 192. I thought that temp my be too high,so I set it to lowest setting of 187 & my coffee is perfect & still hot enough for plenty of half & half. The burnt taste is gone. This setting may differ in all machines,so if your getting a burnt taste with your machine,try different temp settings. You just got to find your "Sweet spot" :)
Love this thing!
This is PERFECT if you are an everyday or even casual coffee drinker. I love to make cold coffee with it. I got a huge assortment of the keurig cups and have been using them a few times a week. Every flavor I have tried so far has been good. The coffee maker itself works flawlessly. My only complaint is that it's sort of hit or miss on how good the coffee will taste when you go to the larger cup sizes. I like to brew the normal size first then re-brew and see if it still holds flavor.

Also, I don't like how expensive the cups are. While, I have a lot of cups right now, I have a feeling if I used this more frequently I'd be spending way more money. I do have the my k-cup so I will probably end up using that.
