Cheap and easy.
Ordered this for a get together I was having in my dorm. Simple enough for people with very little cooking experience to use and came with some decent recipes. It was also very easy to clean and assemble. My only problem with it is that the power cord is very short, only about 3 feet long. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

For fondue lovers
I had one of the traditional fondue sets years ago. I started searching for one which did not need alcohol or candles and found this one. The price was good and the reviews were half good half very critical. I decided to give it a try, despite some reviews that said it was too hot and criticized the temperature control. But when I really tried to buy it, the item was not available any more. Then I found it through Amazon. The price was a little bit higher and I wasn't sure if the capacity was too much for me and my wife. I still ordered it, had to wait some time until it arrived, but it was worth the wait. It is simple to use, the temperature control works perfectly, it is easy to keep clean, I am not disappointed at all. We've already enjoyed cheese fondue twice and we could eat up to the last portion of cheese without burning it, just deliciously melted cheese. I highly recommend it.

we tried the recipe with swiss, cheddar, cornstarch, apple cider, pepper and french bread.. set it up while i was at work. hubby made easily for kids plus one(guest).. they loved it! i had some when i got home to taste and it was absolutely delish.
i bought if for the stainless steel (no surface on inside to wear off and eat), and i don't cook with aluminum. it's also electric which is great cuz i am not into bunsen burners and maintaining a flame which i may fail at a crucial moment. So this got my attention and it is super. did not burn the fondue.
recommend buying it for sure.
