With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Does not fit all K5 models
The description says that this cord is for older Kitchenaid model mixers, including K5 models. I have two K5-A model mixers so ordered two of these cords. The K5-A model does not have the attach points these cords were designed for. Either the cord and/or the mixer will need modification if the new cords can be salvaged. Since the non-refundable shipping was as much as the cords, it doesn't make sense for me to return them. It is a waste of money to order these for a K5-A model mixer.

Item was very easy to install and even worked with my 20+ year old KitchenAid. Glad I found this product!
Proper fitment for KitchenAid Mixer
This cord is US made and fit-up properly to a KitchenAid stand mixer. No issues. The price was great compared to other on-line sellers. Absolutely satisfied with this item and price.
